︎ Open Call: Web Exclusive

This Wintersession, our team invites YOU (graphic designers, coders, digital citizens, videographers, TikTok refugees, keyboard warriors, and techno bystanders) into the deliciously chaotic biome of the internet for our first web-exclusive issue. We’re looking for works that experiment with the web as a medium. Are you making hypertextual journeys? Esoteric websites? Polygon sculptures? Games and interactives? Downloadable files? Audio-visual experiences? And what about those works that weren’t necessarily made digitally, but live and thrive in the digital ecosystem—like documented performances? Fragments of history? Records of places that have physically decayed, or changed? How does a work change when preserved in the amber of a screen? What is lost? What is gained? 🎛️💾💿💻📹📡🔌🔭🪩🗄️

As v.1 soars into our new frontier of publishing, we welcome all this and more. Interpret our call as you see fit. Please submit by February 1st 11:59 PM. We’ll select, creatively and collaboratively design, and publish these works by mid-February on our website.
